About
Connecting the savings of the region and its diaspora to financial markets.
Inopay builds the digital infrastructure that lets licensed institutions in UEMOA (WAEMU) welcome their savers, wherever they live, under their own brand.
Why Inopay
Access is still difficult
Opening a securities account often means lengthy procedures, designed for people who live near a branch.
Compliance carried alone
Each institution repeats the same identity and compliance checks for every client. The file starts from scratch from one institution to the next.
A diaspora that wants to invest at home
Mobilising diaspora savings has become a regional priority. What is missing is simple and secure access, through trusted institutions.
Mission
To connect the savings of the region and its diaspora to financial markets, through trusted institutions.
Vision
A sovereign infrastructure, designed in West Africa, serving the licensed institutions of UEMOA (WAEMU).
Our role
Inopay is a technology provider. The licensed institution keeps its client, its brand and its decision: it takes on the client, keeps the account and executes. Inopay prepares, traces and protects.
- Inopay is neither an SGI (licensed brokerage firm) nor a financial intermediary.
- Inopay holds neither the funds nor the securities of savers.
- Inopay does not provide investment advice.
Our principles
- Data hosted in France
- Encrypted files
- Every access traced
- The decision belongs to the licensed institution
Founder
Inopay was founded by Youssouf Fofana, who spent ten years in finance in Paris (fund management, risk analysis, banking compliance), then fifteen years leading digital transformation projects in Canada.
