The CREPMF (Conseil Régional de l'Épargne Publique et des Marchés Financiers) adopted the AMF-UMOA denomination (Autorité des Marchés Financiers de l'Union Monétaire Ouest Africaine) on 1 October 2022, with the official launch held on 19 January 2023 in Abidjan.
